Step 3:
Unlock your free bet credits:
Find a Horse race later in the day, compare the odds to win on Coral, with the lay odds on a betting exchange for the same horse. Odds must be 1.5 at a minimum.
Choose the horse where the win odds and lay odds are the closest - place £5 on this horse. Be patient and do not rush into picking a horse where the odds are not as close as they could be.
Lay the same horse, staking the amount that will return the same as your bet on Coral is set to return.
Odds of 1.91 (10/11) and 1.93 are similar.
Total outlay of £5 + £4.58 = £9.58
Will return £9.55 regardless of the race outcome.
Qualifying loss of £0.03.
This will result in a small loss, but will qualify you for the free bet credits. This is known as a qualifying bet.
Step 4:
How to use your free bets:
Shortly after settlement of your qualifying bets you will be credited with a £20 free bet.
Find a Horse race later in the day, compare the odds to win on Coral, with the lay odds on a betting exchange for the same horse. We suggest odds between 5.0 and 15.0.
Choose the horse where the win odds and lay odds are the closest - place your £10 free bet credits on this horse.
Then, lay the horse on an exchange, staking the amount that will return the same as your free bet is set to return. Your free bet stake will not be returned on Coral, but your Coral and exchange returns must both still be the same. Use our free bet calculator here.

£20 is a free bet. Cash outlay is only £93.36, returning £110. Profit = £16.64
