Choose the event where the win odds for a team/individual and lay odds for the same team/individual are the closest - place £25 on this. Minimum odds of 1.5.
On a betting exchange, lay the same outcome, staking the amount that will return the same as your bet on SpreadEx is set to return.
This will result in a small loss, but will qualify you for the free bet credits. This is known as a qualifying bet.
Odds of 3.7 (27/10) and 3.75 are similar.
Total outlay of £25 + £67.83 = £49.67
Will return £92.50 regardless of the outcome.
Qualifying loss of £0.33.
Step 4:
How to use your free bets:
Shortly after settlement of your qualifying bet you will be credited with your first £5 free bet. You will be credited with another £5 free bet everyday for the next 4 days. Repeat these steps for every free bet.
Find a football event and compare the odds for one team/individual to win on SpreadEx, with the lay odds on a betting exchange for the same outcome. We suggest odds of 4.0 or greater.
Choose the event where the win odds for a team/individual and lay odds for the same team/individual are the closest. Add this to your bet slip - place your £5 free bet on this.
On a betting exchange, lay the outcome, staking the amount that will return the same as your free bet on SpreadEx is set to return.
Your free bet stake will not be returned on SpreadEx, but your SpreadEx and exchange returns must both still be the same. Use our free bet calculator here.

Use your free spins:

Find a football event and find the total goals market.
On this market you are betting on how many goals will be scored in the game. Place your free bet on the buy option (you must have a full spread betting account to qualify). Have fun!
Step 7:
Use your Winning Favourites:
After settlement of your second free bet (in step 4) you will have accumulated 2 x winning favourites free bets.
Find a horse racing meet the following day, and find the ‘Daily Markets’, and choose the ‘Winning Favourites’ market.
On this market you are betting on how many favourites will win their respective races in the whole day of racing at that meet. Place your free bet on the buy option (you must have a full spread betting account to qualify). Have fun!
Step 8:
After settlement of your free bet, head to the cashier to withdraw.
